The most irritating sort of discourse is when people demand to know “How will anarchists handle such-and-such?”, receive an answer that’s maybe less than perfect or maybe a work in progress, and go “Ah well that would never work due to [superficial flaw]” while conveniently ignoring that the way things are done now already doesn’t work and usually has “murder” as one of the steps

“Things are bad. Here are ways we might start addressing that.”

“Oh-ho-ho, you fool! You recreant! You utter buffoon! You’ve failed to account for literally every contingency or provide ready-made solutions for every problem both real and imagined! Clearly we must continue shoving orphans into the wood chipper, it is the only way.”
