remember when some people were saying how using the term karen is going to become meaningless because everyone uses it to mean very different things while also trying to distance themselves from whiteness and then everyone used the therm karen to mean wildly different thing to distance themselves from meaningful reflection of white violence

what started out as an inside joke of color devolving into a meme’d out term for any and all people (white included) to minimize white violence and now theres pictures of white women with guns in their hands pointed at protesters being called “karen” when in truth theyre one inch away from taking several lives

seeing people refer to that woman and her husband that were pointing guns at people as “karen gone wild” like…..what are you saying here, she’s an armed white supremacist
